I love DIY.

That’s not to say I’m any good at it – I once tried to fix a curtain rail by hammering a few screws into a wall, much to my husband’s horror – but I love it just whatwedothe same. My Dad always tried to teach me these kinds of skills, so that I could get by as an adult without too much trouble. I can plaster a wall, lay a patio, and mix a mean batch of cement. Just don’t ask me to fix a curtain rail – you might regret it…For some people, trying things out with little intervention from others is a good starting point. I’m certainly one of those people, and work best when I’m left to my own devices to figure things out. There are occasions when I’ll need a little help – fixing my car or altering my wedding dress, for example – because we can’t possibly possess every skill we need to tackle life’s little problems. We’ve found that the same can be said for employee engagement – some people want to work with us every step of the way to devise the perfect employee engagement strategy, for example. However, some organisations want to tackle their employee engagement issues head on and at their own pace – and that’s where our DIY Employee Engagement approach comes in. Our popular People Managers Toolkit has been used with hundreds of organisations to improve employee engagement, and is becoming increasingly popular across the globe. From Wales to Brazil, organisations the world over are discovering the benefits of this neat and innovative product.  What does the Toolkit do?toolkitYour toolkit will provide you with a range of practical tools, techniques and tips, enabling you to improve employee engagement with your team. Using the toolkit, you’ll begin your journey from seeing engagement as a survey led, tick–box exercise (transactional engagement) to something which is ongoing and integrated into the way you manage and lead your team (transformational engagement).

The toolkit will help you, as a People Manager, to understand the crucial role YOU play in improving engagement with your team.
