I have been at people lab for just over four months now. It has gone quick – they do say that time flies when you are having fun! And I have enjoyed working with clients, getting to understand their employee experience and engagement, to shape people’s journeys at work. The work is varied and fast paced. I am lucky that I am able to do what I enjoy doing on a daily basis, and can utilise my skills as well as learning new ones!
It has helped me to reflect on where I have come from in the Ministry of Justice, and given me lots of ideas of how to improve people’s experience and engagement when I go back in September.
The problem is – I have so many ideas and thoughts about experience and engagement, that it has been starting to keep me awake at night. So that got me thinking; I am sure that I am not alone in that boat…what is it that people are interested in at the moment? Where is your go to place to learn or build skills? And what do you need to help you solve those problems that are interrupting your REM sleep? I am hoping that as followers of People Lab, you can help me answer some of these questions.
