Like so many of us, my career is the result of a series a happy accidents rather than careful, considered planning. I love working in the field of employee experience and engagement – and I’m grateful that I get to do this every day. But here’s the thing… even if I had been more on it with the planning, I would have come to a dead end pretty quickly. If you want a career in EX and engagement where do you begin? And once you’re in, where do you go to develop yourself and your career?
These are questions I get asked all the time. And there isn’t a straightforward answer. While there are lots of courses and programmes out there, they all offer something slightly different and don’t join up the practice areas of EX and engagement particularly well. So, we have decided to do something about this.
We’re currently speaking to a range of people to better understand what makes successful employee experience and employee engagement practitioners. We want to find out what skills, competencies and experiences make a difference to people working in this field. And I have to tell you that the early findings are fascinating!
We’re doing this research so that we can help all of you who want to develop your career in this space.
Very soon we’ll be sharing the findings from our conversations. And we’re developing a competency framework and profession map to help you figure out where you are today, where you want to get to and what you need to do to get there.
The findings will underpin our all-new accredited course, which for the first time is going to join the dots between EX and engagement. And give you a badge you can wear with pride, to tell the world that you’re an expert in everything EX and engagement.
If you’d like to be among the first to hear the findings from this ground-breaking research then follow the link below to sign up. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in the next stage too. We have some exciting developments in the pipeline, and we want passionate practitioners to join us on this journey and contribute to what comes next…
