Introducing our new book: People-Centered Internal Communication

I’m absolutely over the moon to announce the upcoming release of our new book, ‘People-Centered Internal Communication’ which I’m co-authoring with my long-time  collaborator, and fellow EX Space founder Lee Smith. Published by Kogan Page, this book will hit shelves in late 2025.

The book will set out a bold new direction for IC by placing employees at its heart. For too long IC has taken a narrow, often siloed approach that limits its potential. Our new approach transforms IC into a strategic enabler by applying models and tools from diverse disciplines, such as design thinking, service design, agile, systems thinking, and positive psychology. This shift allows IC to move beyond its traditional boundaries, fostering a more integrated, people-centered practice that drives meaningful organisational impact.

At The EX Space, we’re passionate about reshaping work by equipping professionals with the skills, tools, and insights they need to adopt a genuinely human-centric approach. Through courses, research, and a vibrant community, we empower members to tackle future challenges with confidence. Our new book will be a cornerstone of our 2025 programme, supporting the adoption of people-first IC practices.
